    Primary Skillset:

    1. Smalltalk & Gemstone:
    • Proficient in Smalltalk programming language.
    • Hands-on experience with Gemstone/S Object Database.
    • Ability to design, develop, and maintain applications using Smalltalk and Gemstone technologies.
    • Strong understanding of object-oriented programming principles.

    Secondary Skillset:

    1. JavaScript:
    • Strong proficiency in JavaScript, including DOM manipulation and the JavaScript object model.
    • Experience with modern JavaScript frameworks such as , Angular, or
    • Familiarity with asynchronous programming and AJAX.
    1. Python:
    • Proficiency in Python programming language.
    • Experience with Python web frameworks such as Django or Flask.
    • Knowledge of Python libraries for data manipulation and analysis such as Pandas, NumPy, and SciPy.
    1. DevOps CI/CD:
    • Experience with continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
    • Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or Travis CI.
    • Ability to automate software deployment, monitoring, and infrastructure management processes.

    Responsibilities:

    • Develop and maintain software applications using Smalltalk and Gemstone technologies.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement software solutions.
    • Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code.
    • Participate in code reviews, testing, and debugging activities.
    • Implement DevOps best practices to automate software development, testing, and deployment processes.
    • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members.
    • Stay updated on emerging technologies and industry trends relevant to software development.

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
    • years of professional experience in software development.
    • Strong proficiency in Smalltalk and Gemstone technologies.
    • Solid understanding of object-oriented programming concepts.
    • Experience with JavaScript, Python, and DevOps CI/CD practices is a plus.
