- Designs and implements systemic solutions as well as tactical tools to support liquidity and interest rate reporting and forecasting.
- Ensures soundness of design, its flexibility and scalability.
- Oversees the ongoing development and ensures the process is closely tied up to defined tool roadmap and agreed priorities.
- Reviews designs of the relevant data extracts as inputs to models and solutions, considering the balance between accuracy and model performance.
- Reviews and develops calculation prototypes in excel to communicate complex requirements to Technology partners.
- Documents all underlying methodologies, design, assumptions and operating models.
- Supports, as the SME, the migration of tactical solutions to strategic platforms.
- Provides input into the strategic direction of Treasury platforms and plan projects accordingly.
- 5+ years of work experience and 3+ years of relevant experience in front or middle office Interest Rate Risk Management, ALM, Liquidity Risk Management or Treasury in banking institution, or similar experience in a consulting / software development firm covering the same business aspects.
- Good understanding and practical experience in at least one of the following: LCR and NSFRInternal liquidity stress testingNet Interest Income calculation IRRBB
- Work experience in solution implementation and design
- Understanding of banking system architecture
- Excellent written and verbal communication in English.
- Essential: ALM and Commercial Book products
- Extra: Exposure to trading book products
- Prior experience with Balance Sheet Management platforms (Moody's Analytics, QRM, Oracle, etc.) or booking platforms (Murex, Kondor, etc.) is an advantage.

Role Responsibilities
Our Treasury Modelling Hub in Warsaw is responsible for driving Treasury's Digitalization Strategy. Advanced Prototyping team is on the front line of the digital transformation providing insights to new technologies and technical proficiency to enhance Treasury's capabilities across liquidity and interest rate forecasting, advanced analytics and balance sheet optimisation.
One of key foundations of the transformation is development of advanced prototypes, in Excel and Python, that are used to serve as proof of concepts for target state platform built or enhanced into self-sufficient tools (EUCs) used to add value in a variety of topics such as : liquidity scenario simulation or LCR forecasting, balance sheet optimization including forecasting of net interest income for the Bank.
The prototypes are developed in an agile model. EUC tools are transferred to operational teams for everyday usage while prototypes serve as a foundation of target platform development. Depending on the project, target platforms are coded with a use of Java, Python or Haskell as a main functional language.
Treasury Solutions SME will be supporting the Platformization Lead in delivery of systemic solutions in liquidity forecasting and/or net interest income simulation area. The SME will play a key role in defining the final shape of implemented tools/platforms, solution delivery, functional optimization and end product maintenance.
