    For our newly established Java department we are looking for Java Software Architects/Tech Leader. This is a strictly technical role – you will not be expected to manage a team or project (unless you feel like doing it) – we need you to be the technical mastermind behind our solutions able to push our technology game to a new level. It is a great opportunity to lay the foundations for a new endeavour and establish the ways of working the way you know is right and grow together with the organization.     • Your daily tasks as a Software Architect/Tech Leader:

  • Coordinating work between integration analysts and developers,
  • Providing feedback to integration stream leader and integration advisor about status, issues, and risks,
  • Challenging integration analysts on their proposal,
  • Proposing and challenging the architecture,
  • Defining the communication layer between front and backend,
  • Defining synchronization process to ensure that frontend and backend are aligned,
  • Defining events used by the system and shared inside clients IT eco-system,
  • Proposing KPIs to ensure that the system is working correctly,
  • Contributing and animating event-storming sessions,
  • Ensuring that the service respect guidelines from enterprise architects,

    • You will be a perfect match if you:

  • Have 10+ years (total) of hands-on work in software development in an engineering position with direct exposure to code – it is a strictly technical role, and you need to be up to date with modern tech.
  • Have experience designing Cloud-based, multi-layered applications (database, backend, services, front-end) – either Azure, AWS or GCP will do.
  • Hands-on programming experience with Java, Hibernate, Spring Boot.
  • Have Good understanding of front-end technologies – we do not expect you to be an expert programmer in JS, but you need to be aware of what these technologies are capable of and which to pick and when.
  • Have excellent knowledge of modern software engineering processes and tools ( GIT, Jira/Azure DevOps, Agile development practices, DevOps run by the actual dev team, unit testing etc.).
  • Very good understanding of Containerization, Cloud infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, e2e testing process etc.
  • Worked in Scrum (we do not want you to be a Scrum Master, but we need you to understand what is going on).
  • Have ability to work in English on daily basis both internally and with the customers.
  • Will to mentor senior engineers and support them in solving technology challenges.
  • Some experience with the following would be an advantage: Kafka Apache, MongoDB, relational database (MS SQL, PostgreSQL).
