- Supervises the scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on radar systems.
- Supervisors inspection, tests, and operation radar equipment to determine equipment serviceability, maintenance, repair and proper operation.
- Supervises services radar equipment, disassembles and assembles malfunctioning accessories and components.
- Supervises all moves, disassembles, repairs, cleans, treats for corrosion, assembles, and reinstall components, cables and accessories.
- Disposes of hazardous materials and waste in accordance with all state, local, and federal environmental standards and regulations.
- Supervises the team that operates, cleans, inspects, and services radar equipment for maintenance purposes.
- Practices good housekeeping, property accountability control, Foreign Object Damage prevention and safety at all times.
- Additional responsibilities include working with a variety of repair and test equipment including, electrical testers and various other test equipment.
- Performs other duties as assigned to meet organizational/operational objectives.

- Receives guidance and direction as necessary from the Program Manager with regards on policies, directives and professional development. Material however, overtime may be required given the gravity of the mission and schedule. Candidates must be flexible and committed to working the required hours to support this effort.
- Work requires stooping, climbing, prolonged standing, prolong sitting and occasional working in cramped and awkward position.
- Frequent exposure to conditions of inclement weather, extreme heat and cold, high/low humidity, blowing sand and dust, and working in confined spaces and at heights
- Must be able to climb up and down ladders and stairs, as well as bend, twist, and squad for prolonged periods.

The Radar Technician Supervisor is responsible for the direction of radar technicians and radar instructors for the instruction, installation, maintenance, repair and operation of radar systems and their components.
They report to the Program Manager who is overall responsible for the site.Must have experience with instruction on radar systems, radar system tools, diagnostic equipment, TDME, specialized test equipment, bench mounted test and diagnostic and analysis systems.
