Job summary
We are looking for a Lead Mechanical Engineer experienced in spacecraft mechanical design structural analysis manufacturing supervision as well as testing and pre-launch qualification Ideally a person who has been involved in designing and building satellite platforms for payloads requiring precise actuation control stabilization participating components selection working with manufacturers contractors environmental thermal vibration testing In this role you will be involved leading technical activities focused on development of new satellite platform enhancing ICEYE next generation spacecraftResponsibilities
- Be key founding member small team responsible spacecraft systems lifecycle from design up to in-orbit validation Team will bring design into full production commissioning operations imaging instrument including phases along way testing qualification verification iterating necessary steps
- Be technical leader design optimization satellite platform oversee manufacturing testing qualification campaign Due nature project size founding tiger team expected actively participate CAD engineering activities
