Position Information:

We are looking for a seasoned Engineer to lead product development, ensuring seamless integration and alignment with client support teams, engineering leads, product managers, and architects through the entire development cycle. This role demands a high level of logical thinking, a comprehensive understanding of technology application, quick troubleshooting, and adept problem-solving skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead product development initiatives, closely collaborating with engineering leads, product managers, and architects to guide projects from conception to completion.
• Apply sound engineering practices consistently to achieve improved business outcomes.
• Mentor team members, conduct design reviews, and provide guidance for necessary adjustments.
• Facilitate the development process by working closely with product owners and architects, ensuring timely delivery of solution architecture and design artifacts.
• Stay updated on emerging technologies, evaluating their adoption within the organization through proofs of concept and technical evaluations.
• Address production issues and participate in cross-region development collaborations as required.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 6 years of experience in Java and web service development.
• Proven track record of delivering scalable applications.
• In-depth knowledge of web services standards, REST API, Microservices, and Containers.
• Solid understanding of database technologies, including SQL and JPA.

Additional responsibilities include involvement in all project deliverables such as coding, testing, integration, and production support, as well as active participation in daily standups, planning meetings, and demos.

Additional Information:

This is a hybrid work opportunity, requiring attendance at the customer's office in Warsaw twice a week for team relationship-building purposes. Due to the nature of our work in the financial market, candidates will be subject to detailed background screening including education, employment history, and criminal record.
