Productivity Engineer, Global Support

As a Technology Productivity Engineer at BAM, you will be involved in:

• Developing standards and documentation for productivity services provided firm wide

• Providing subject matter expertise on Atlassian Cloud (Jira and Confluence), Asana, and Workato

• Management of Atlassian Jira and Confluence including configuration and break/fix

• Lead implementations of Jira workflows to deliver and optimize business processes

• Manage systems such as Slack, Zoom, Google Workspaces

• Write glue code to enable information flow between applications by leveraging REST APIs

• Managing vendor relationships with solution providers

• Identifying technology gaps and implementing appropriate solutions collaboratively

• Providing applications support when needed

To be considered a good technical fit, you must have:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, management information systems, or similar technical discipline; or equivalent experience

• 3+ years' experience operating in a similar engineering role

• Expert knowledge experience with Atlassian Cloud applications, specifically Jira Software, Jira Service Management, and Confluence

• Experience understanding, reverse-engineering, and integrating with third party APIs

• Experience implementing Atlassian Marketplace Add-Ons

• Strong understanding of the SDLC and agile processes

• Knowledge in Windows and/or Linux operating systems

• Strong scripting skills in PowerShell and/or Python

• Knowledge in networking and standard protocols (DNS/Mail/FTP/SSH, SNMP, etc)

• Experience creating knowledge articles for maintaining application documentation, project management templates, and asset management life cycle processes

• Experience managing vendor relationships
