    We are looking for a Senior Data Architect to join our team

    Your role in the project:

    1. Data Source Discovery:
    • Lead efforts to identify and discover relevant data sources within the organization.
    • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand potential data sources and evaluate their suitability for integration into the data architecture.
    • Develop strategies and processes to efficiently discover and onboard new data sources to enrich the organization's assets.
    1. Data Mapping:
    • Design and implement data mapping processes to ensure seamless integration and interoperability across various data sources and systems.
    • Develop and maintain documentation related to data mapping processes, schemas, and transformations.
    1. Data Architecture and Optimization:
    • Optimize data architecture performance by tuning configurations, refining code, and adhering to industry best practices.
    • Proactively monitor data architecture environments for performance, reliability, and scalability, implementing necessary measures to address issues swiftly.
    • Provide architectural assessments, strategies, and roadmaps for data management, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives.
    1. Data Management, Governance and Compliance:
    • Implement data governance practices within Databricks to ensure data quality, integrity, and security.
    • Develop and maintain data management procedures to govern the data lifecycle from acquisition to disposal, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
    • Conduct regular audits and assessments of data management processes and systems to identify areas for improvement and mitigate risks.
    • Enforce data compliance policies and standards to meet regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
    1. Collaboration and Support:
    • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including data engineering, data science, and business intelligence, to support their data needs and initiatives.
    • Provide technical expertise and support to troubleshoot and resolve data-related issues on time.

    If you possess...

    • Proven experience as lead data architect in projects aiming at designing data architecture and implementing data mapping solutions across complex enterprise environments.
    • Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts, ETL processes, and data integration patterns.
    • Familiarity with data governance frameworks and practices.
    • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Scala, or SQL for data manipulation and transformation.
    • Hands-on experience with the Databricks platform will be an asset
    • Experience with cloud platforms such as Salesforce, Zendesk, Soho, Infocom will be an asset.
    • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Certification in Databricks or related technologies.
    • Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
