    The position

    As the Clinical Medical Manager Lead, you will lead a team of 9 Clinical Medical Managers acting as a bridge between clinical operations and medical affairs, facilitating the execution of clinical trials in new therapy areas – with main focus on cardiovascular diseases, but also chronic kidney, NASH and Alzheimer's disease. You will play a pivotal role in the early phase development, delivering successful clinical trials and contributing to medical and scientific discussion and initiatives of Novo Nordisk.

    Your main responsibilities will include:

    • Leading and developing the team, ensuring the Clinical Medical Managers have the right capabilities to be successful.
    • Identifying and mapping KOLs, investigators and research centres within the relevant therapy areas collecting insights for the local affiliate and our Clinical Development Centre.
    • Conducting advisory boards and scientific meetings within relevant therapy areas and engaging with local associations for HCPs and patient advocacy groups.
    • Creating training programs and coordinating for Clinical Medical Managers and clinical operations team.

    Qualifications

    You are a medical doctor or PhD in healthcare with strong clinical and preferably research background, alternatively Pharmacist or Master of Science with strong, relevant background.

    You should additionally meet the following criteria:

    • You have a minimum of 5 years of pharmaceutical industry experience in Medical Affairs – ideally you also supported clinical trials in that role.
    • Solid and successful experience of people management – no less than 3 years.
    • You have knowledge in cardiovascular diseases and local healthcare system.
    • We expect our candidates to be able to communicate effectively in both English and Polish, discuss strategies in a way that impacts key stakeholders and able to build trusted relationships.

    About the department

    You will become a part of a Clinical Medical Regulatory (CMR) department covering Poland and report to the Senior Director CMR. Within the department, you will be closely working with the clinical operations team.
