    Bytamic is an international IT-services and Consulting company with its headquarters in Vienna, Austria and subsidiary companies in Warsaw and Poznan. We work with multinational companies and we drive digital transformation for our clients. We are truly agile, work with the latest technologies and our engineers and scrum-teams deliver state-of-the-art product development services for our clients. Delivering with highest quality standards is key to us – therefore we focus on continuous training & education of our engineers.

    This is a chance to be part of a new project for our client– a multinational professional services company from Austria. We are looking for a qualified Senior Java Developer with a good knowledge of English.

    About the role

    • Collaborating with a team of developers and stakeholders to analyse requirements and design solutions
    • Develop high-quality software solutions using Java and Spring frameworks
    • Design and implement microservices architectures, enhancing our fintech solutions
    • Ensure robust and scalable applications with Spring Boot, JPA/Hibernate, and other modern technologies
    • Performing unit testing and assist with integration and system testing
    • Working on a new project – FinTech application made from scratch
    • Document technical specifications, processes, and procedures as required
    • Utilize a comprehensive tech stack including Docker, Maven, MariaDB, and more to deliver superior results

    What you need

    • Experience in Java, with substantial experience in Spring Boot and building microservices
    • Excellent command of English, with knowledge in payment systems being highly advantageous
    • A problem solver, eager to work in a fast-paced environment
    • Experience in the fintech sector/ payment projects, particularly in banking applications
    • Very good communication skills

    Tech Stack:

    Core: Java 18, Spring Boot 3, Spring, JPA/Hibernate

    Database: MariaDB, Flyway

    Testing: JUnit, Mockito, WireMock

    Others: Open API, Maven, Docker, Apache CXF, Feign
