- Analysis and creation of an optical concept and verification of its feasibility
- Design of optical surfaces - in particular, reflectors, colimators, light pipes, blades, etc.
- Simulations of optical systems
- Validation of results against regulatory requirements and lighting criteria
- Optimization of optical design, improvement of uniformity of function
- Performing photometric measurements
- Experience in designing lamps for automotive
- Knowledge of CATIA V5 software
- Knowledge of Optispeos and/or Lucidshape, or other related software
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Independence
- Good knowledge of English; German will be an added advantage
- Participation in a variety of internal and international projects
