- Ensure compliance with international and national laws and regulations in the field of HESQ
- Implement applicable new global and European regulations and directives
- Perform activities that ensure compliance with ISO certification, support in internal and external audits, and be responsible for HESQ and Document management systems
- Perform tasks related to legal compliance, e.g. reporting to management and the board, compliance to internal procedures (HOPS/TOPS)
- Responsible for REACH compliance
- Review and implement local policies or operating guidelines to comply with changes to environmental standards or regulations
- Customer complaint management including product quality complaints
- Ensure coordination with Yara's HESQ community (Corporate and YIS HESQ)
- Develop and handle Stationary safety plans and projects e.g.: Behavior Based Safety, safety walks, risk assessment, safety inspections and audits
- A minimum of a Bachelor Degree/education related to Health and Safety or Operational Management
- Good understanding of Quality Management Systems in line with ISO 9001/14001 & ISO 45001
- Minimum of 8 years' experience in a fertilizer/chemical operational environment with varied responsibilities regarding HESQ methodologies and strategies. Preferred experience from working at Manager level
- Knowledge about REACH and international and local legislation as well as local regulatory processes
- Risk management and crisis management
- Fluent in written and verbal English & Polish (additional languages are an asset), ability to travel on a moderate basis
