Senior Accountant FTC Maternity Cover - Al. Armii Ludowej , Warszawa, Polska - The Walt Disney Company

In this role, you'll play a pivotal part in supporting daily operations across various purchasing functions.

This role is a maternity cover, and it will require you to be onsite 4 days a week.

Areas of Responsibility

• Accurate and timely processing of purchase invoices in compliance with Polish regulations
• Verification of accounting documents and ensuring completeness of archived documentation
• GL entries, expense accruals, and reconciliations
• Preparation of financial reports, statements and submissions to tax authorities and regulatory bodies
• Active involvement in VAT declarations and tax-related activities
• Participation in audits

Qualifications:

• Demonstrated experience in a similar role on a polish market.
• Knowledge of accounting and tax regulations (VAT, CIT, WHT)
• Comfortable communication in both English and Polish skills
• Experience with SAP system is a plus.
