IT Architect City Warsaw Country Poland You'll be travelling ~ 50 % Your employee type Contract of Employment Your job type Full time What you will do As an IT Architect, you will work closely with case team members to assess and coach our clients' IT teams, define IT strategies, architecture solutions and apply your technical know-how and understanding of business context, including: Assessing complex IT application landscapes and identifying areas requiring improvement Structuring complex problems and identifying non-trivial technology decisions facing a client Translating business vision into technological requirements Designing fit for purpose target IT architectures to support client ambitions Road mapping and business case development Reviewing vendor proposals and/or in-flight technical work Interviewing senior IT and business stakeholders and presenting work results in a clear and understandable manner Serving as a technological expert within the collaborative framework of a cross-functional project team Want to learn more? Read one of our interviews explaining the IT Architect role at BCG Platinion HERE What are we looking for 2+ years' experience in software development, technical project management, digital delivery, or technology consulting A University degree with above average academic performance in a STEM related field or business management Ability to bring unique tech perspective, prior IT consulting experience preferable Overview of common development methods and tools Dev Ops practices and Continuous Improvement Approaches to managing Architectural debt, Architecture governance and evolution in practic Micro services topologies, including operational concerns such as resiliency, observability, discovery and routing, security etc.
Have experience with, and understand how to lead, legacy integration and remediation (facades, strangler approaches, et.al.) Deep understanding of different integration patterns and best practices such as events, synchronous vs.
Asynchronous Nice to have experience with Cloud and Domain Driven Design (DDD)
