- Making the necessary decisions in all matters concerning the department to ensure its proper functioning.
- Ensuring the continuity of the production process, based on the technology and resources including the appropriate efficiency, costs and management of production and technology processes.
- Supervision of technological processes:
- Coordinating the high-efficiency projects and active participation in individual projects (LEAN, OEE, 5S, SMED, VSM).
- Product Robustness and continuous improvement.
- Implementation of local and corporate guidelines, standards concerning the production area (production & technology).
- Coordination of investment projects, investment budget control, supervising investment processes in accordance with corporate guidelines.
- Collaboration with the Quality Division in terms of continuous monitoring and improvement of Quality system.
- Identifying talents in organization, employee performance and succession plans management. Developing employees, being their mentor, modeling behaviors and competencies in line with the Teva's values.
- Planning and budget management. Establishing priorities in the Division's budget. Workload and resources administration/ disposal.
- Collaboration with the Environmental Protection Department in terms of identifying ways and methods of disposal of waste generated in the plant, sewage neutralization, reduction of gas, dust and noise emission into the air.
- MSc. in Science, Pharmacy or Chemical Engineering, Pharmaceutical Technology or equivalent experience. Ph.D. desirable.
- Minimum of 10 year experience in manufacturing. Additional specialist experience (e.g., pharmaceutical formulation, process development, manufacturing technology, aseptic techniques, regulatory processes).
- Leadership skills.
- Proactive and creative, solution oriented.
- Fluent in English.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office. SAP, TrackWise desirable.
