    We have a great role available for a Manager Payments at CBRE Investment Accounting & Reporting Solutions (work location: Warsaw).


    Goal of the function:


    The Payments Manager is responsible for managing the ongoing financial administration of payment processing on a timely and accurate basis for EMEA.

    He will lead an international team (FTE 8+) based in Warsaw and Amsterdam which performs and monitors vendor management, invoice processing, payment processing, adherence to client delegations of authority and ongoing process improvements.


    What are going to be your main responsibilities:
    Manage Payments team in timely and accurate processing of invoices and other payment requests via system workflow Monitor and perform, where necessary, audits on the invoice approval and the payments process to ensure accuracy Oversee and manage automated and manual payment batch process as well as exceptional manual payments in external banking/payment platforms Responsibility for strict adherence to vendor management processes Ensure ongoing compliance to all (SOC1) audit requirements Prepare and distribute AP Invoice Aging/Status reports Track and monitor flows and exceptions to identify possible improvements Participate and lead project groups as required Manage client enquiries Train and support junior staff

    Who are going to be your main contacts?

    Internal:
    Treasury and Payments team, Finance departments within Global Investment Administration, Internal Audit and Technology team External: Clients, External service providers, Vendors, Banks banking systems

    What are we looking for?
    3 to 5 years of experience in a similar role. (including SWIFT, SEPA knowledge) Experience in managing 6+ FTEs Experience with various banking/payment portal and invoice processing solutions Experience with Coupa TM5 and/or Yardi (Payscan) are considered as a plus Ability to support a remote team Proven ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing and interact effectively with management, employees, and auditors Ability to provide efficient, timely, reliable and courteous service to customers Ability to collect, analyze, and summarize data and to prepare clear and concise reports Experience with real estate, REITs and real estate investment funds is a plus Advanced Excel skills (spreadsheet applications) Result-oriented approach with an analytical and problem-solving attitude, looking into details and various alternatives for optimal resolution You have strong organizational skills, are stress resistant, flexible and dedicated, you are able to set priorities and meet critical reporting deadlines
