    Software Engineering Manager

    We are seeking an exceptional Software Engineering Manager to lead our high-performing team of software engineers. As a leader in the infrastructure group, you will oversee a Scrum team, ensuring its success through Agile principles and leadership.

    You will drive organizational efficiency through industry best practices for SaaS products, leading an internal platform team that empowers Relativity developers to deliver high-value products. Your responsibilities will include managing the team's workload, hiring, and performance evaluation, as well as leveraging technical leads and architects to develop effective solutions.

    The ideal candidate will have experience managing software development teams, with 10+ years of experience in commercial-grade software development, and strong knowledge of modern programming languages, high-performance, fault-tolerant distributed systems, cloud environments, and Infrastructure as Code. You will also have the ability to motivate teams and improve efficiency under pressure, as well as strong verbal, presentation, and written communication skills.

    Key Responsibilities:
    • Conduct 1:1 meetings to support direct reports in overcoming challenges.
    • Promote knowledge-sharing across the team.
    • Offer technical leadership in your team's feature set or domain.
    • Guide employees on career development and future opportunities.

    Technology & Strategy Leadership

    You will serve as a technology advisor, staying ahead of industry trends, and contribute hands-on to software design, development, and integration. You will also develop a strategic vision for your team's domain, implementing operational policies and driving process improvements.

    Qualifications:

    • Positive attitude and strong teamwork skills.
    • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
    • 4+ years managing software development teams.
    • 10+ years of experience in commercial-grade software development.
    • Experience leading remote teams.
    • Strong knowledge of modern programming languages and object-oriented programming.
    • High-performance, fault-tolerant distributed systems.
    • Cloud environments (SaaS, PaaS).
    • Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Pulumi, etc.).
    • Ability to motivate teams and improve efficiency under pressure.
    • Strong verbal, presentation, and written communication skills.
    • Experience with Agile methodologies.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Experience with GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or other automation tools.
    • Proven success leading SaaS or PaaS products.
    • Cloud platforms (Azure preferred).

    Total Compensation:

    This position is eligible for competitive total compensation which includes a base salary and annual performance bonus. The expected salary range for this role is between 252,000 and 378,000 PLN.
