    Subsea Controls System Engineer

    We are seeking a subsea Controls System engineer to strengthen our team and assist in the delivery of current and future projects within the Oil and Gas industry.

    About the Role

    In this role, you will prepare technical packages for studies, tenders, and (pre)FEED/FEED proposals. You will be accountable for various engineering deliverables, including study reports, specifications, design calculations, analyses, and 3rd-party submissions.

    You will represent our company towards clients for Controls scope of work, striving to understand their requirements. You will identify and address design challenges and propose optimal Control system solutions that transform our clients' project economics.

    Requirements

    • A university degree in an appropriate Engineering discipline (Electrical, Electronic, and Computer are preferred)
    • Knowledge and ability to interpret design codes used on subsea systems, including API, ISO, DNV, and others
    • Strong understanding of system design and team approach, with knowledge of interdependency of various elements and required interfaces to support subsea system solutions
    • Desire to branch out beyond Controls technical expertise, to learn and gain a better understanding of other disciplines and entire subsea production system
    • Ability to read, evaluate, optimize, and create P&IDs and Controls schematics, with knowledge of AutoCAD or similar drafting applications
    • Ability to set and meet deadlines and manage priorities
