Assistant to the Headmaster

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic person to join our team as the Assistant to the Headmaster. About Akademeia:

Akademeia High School is an academically-selective school in Warsaw, offering IGCSEs and A Levels alongside Akademeia Assessed Courses. The majority of our students are preparing to study at Oxbridge, Russell group, and Ivy League universities as well as acclaimed architecture, art and music schools. With a rigorous admissions process and A Level classes taught in the form of undergraduate seminars, the school pursues a pre-university university model. Your Responsibilities:

• First point of contact for all matters relating to the Headmaster
• In charge of the Headmaster's calendar
• Preparation of all relevant documents in advance of meetings and follow up on action points
• Ensure that the Headmaster is briefed for all meetings with the relevant correspondence, records or data
• Coordinate the Headmaster's follow-up actions from correspondence and meetings
• Proactive sorting and screening of all incoming post and email
• Co-ordination of regular and ad hoc communication with teachers, students, and parents in liaison with the School Office
• Note taking for SLT and other meetings as required
• Guests' welcome; room preparation, drinks, etc

Our Requirements:

• Educated to degree level
• Fluent English and Polish
• Experience of working in an office and data driven environment
• High level of IT skills
• Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Calm, friendly, and professional attitude at all times
